Goldaniatech, codenamed Golden, is an upcoming urban fantasy action-adventure game, solo‑developed by me, Yoann Amar Assouline, from scratch.
Explore a teeny-tiny city and its amusement park on the Golden Planet, fight countless goofy creatures in diverse areas, unlock playable characters with unique combat style, enjoy side activities, and invest in properties across the city to unlock new abilities for your characters.
The game is expected to launch in 2026 through Early Access on PC.
Benchmark Demo
A Benchmark Demo was released on , in preparation for the Early Access launch in a couple of months.
The Benchmark Demo will gradually evolve from a small demo where can only walk through a very limited section of Golden Avenue into a full‑featured Gameplay Demo.
In the future, you will be able to try a single Challenge as Charlotte or Logan and explore the city!
Start this single‑player adventure by choosing between Charlotte, a powerful psychic with multiple powers, and her brother Logan, an engineer with exceptional strength and a passion for fitness.
As you progress through your adventure by completing Challenges, you will unlock new heroes. Each playable character offers a very unique experience, with exclusive activities and their own combat style.
Fight goofy creatures
Throughout the game, you will encounter fantastical creatures like a stylized pegasus, gigantic pumpkins, and huge butterflies
Defeat these monsters across the city and the intergalactic amusement park, from haunted buildings and broken trains to a corrupted arcade zone overrun by glitch‑born enemies!
These fights will help you energize your Legendary Castle to unlock new features and adventures.
Explore the City
Wander freely through the teeny‑tiny city, where you can enter every single building, from local stores to beautiful residences.
I plan to continuously expand the city throughout the game’s Early Access, adding new buildings to visit and new activities for each playable character.
Buy Properties
Purchase multiple properties to unlock exclusive activities and unique advantages for each playable character.
Some properties may also generate passive income over time.
Playable Characters
Charlotte
Charlotte is an undercover psychic who officially works as a magician and an illusionist specialist.
Explore the City
Goldaniatech features a teeny-tiny city that you can explore, where you can enter every single building, from local stores to beautiful residences (hence why it's a very small world 😅).
I plan to expand the city throughout the game’s entire Early Access period, adding new buildings to visit and new exclusive activities for each character.
Financial District
You can earn a lot of money by fighting monsters or doing side activities. But what if you want more money and don’t want to wait or do more quests?
Well, you can also borrow money from the Bank.
Transporation
There is a lot of transportation for such a small city, from different trains to a tramway along the Golden Avenue! Unfortunately for the citizens, but fortunately for you, none of it is working due to the monsters.
Fast Travel
You can still use the tramway for fast travel when it’s not broken, of course!
You also have taxis that are so fast it feels like teleportation, but they are more expensive!
Early Access
The game is expected to launch in 2026 through Early Access on PC. I will continuously develop the game and gather feedback to adjust everything, while staying faithful to my game’s DNA.
With each update, expect more buildings and brand-new places to explore. More creatures to fight. More unlockable characters. More properties to acquire.
Early Access FAQ
Why is the game in Early Access?
I deeply believe that Early Access is the most effective way to help my game reach its full potential. It allows me to refine every feature and gameplay mechanic, and to collect the feedback needed to make it as enjoyable as possible.
In other words, it's incredibly important for me to gather as much feedback as possible. I truly want to deliver the most polished experience I can, and the only way to do that is by publishing my game in Early Access.
Besides, as a solo developer, relying on Early Access lets me test ideas in real conditions and tweak my game quickly, almost in real time 😃!
How long will the game be in Early Access?
The full version of Goldaniatech will include significantly more content: additional fantasy creatures to fight, more Playable Characters, more vehicles to control, a wider variety of places to explore, more stores to visit for character upgrades, and new features that will make the overall experience much better.
How will the full version differ from the Early Access version?
Likely between 1 and 2 years. If development goes smoothly, it could take less time. If major features need more work, it might take longer.
Leaving Early Access means my game has reached a stable and complete core experience, refined based on player feedback.
Further updates may follow, depending on what’s needed to improve the experience, how I feel about my game, and how players respond. I will communicate as clearly as possible about the future of my game as the roadmap evolves over time!
Beware, my game’s versioning does not follow the classic “1.0 = full release” convention. Version 1.0 refers to the first public version of my game, not the end of Early Access.
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
At launch, the Early Access version will include multiple Destiny Quests to complete, a few monsters to fight, a couple of drivable vehicles, and a portion of the city to explore.
Development is still ongoing, so I cannot yet provide a crystal-clear list of features. I will clarify the exact content of the initial release closer to launch.
Moreover, some features are still experimental and won’t be included or playable in the first few Early Access builds.
Is the price expected to increase after Early Access?
I am not currently planning a price change for the full release of my game. However, I will make a final decision as the game gets closer to leaving Early Access.
How are players involved during the development process?
I will listen closely to feedback on features, gameplay mechanics, visuals, performance, and overall enjoyment of my game. I will gather most feedback from social media and Steam posts, which I will actively monitor.
On the development side, I will share as much information as possible about what I am updating through social media, my website, and Steam. My goal is to be fully transparent, so players know exactly what to expect in the future.
After launching the Early Access version, I will look for new ways to gather feedback and improve the game.
System Requirements
Windows Requirements
These specifications are still very early, due to the massive amount of changes planned during the Early Access period.
However, due to the AI-related hardware shortages and gigantic price increases, I plan to heavily optimize performance and lower requirements over time (whenever possible 😅), potentially targeting something like a Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti or Radeon RX 5700 XT. Unfortunately, this may mean fewer gameplay features or more technical compromises compared to the initial vision.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Goldaniatech?
Goldaniatech refers to two different things: the company founded by me, Yoann Amar Assouline, and the Action-Adventure game I'm creating alone and from scratch.
What kind of game is Goldaniatech?
Goldaniatech is an action-adventure game filled with many quests, fantasy monsters to fight, and very detailed locations to explore in a teeny-tiny city and its amusement park!
When is the game Goldaniatech coming out?
The free Benchmark Demo was released on .
The Early Access version might be available in 2026.
On which platforms will Goldaniatech be available?
Initially, the game will only be available on Windows. I plan to support additional platforms later, but I cannot provide a timeline or further details yet.
Will the Goldaniatech demo remain available permanently?
Yes The demo will remain permanently available and will be regularly updated alongside the game's Early Access version, so you can always play the latest build.
From a technical standpoint, and because demos used to be extremely important for me to try new games, I built the game around the idea of continuously updating the demo.
In what languages will Goldaniatech be available?
My game will only be available in American English.
I do not plan to translate it into other languages, as that would take significant time and resources that I want to keep focused entirely on gameplay.
Is Goldaniatech an open world?
Yes, but also no 😅!
From a technical standpoint in Unreal Engine 5, Goldaniatech is a true open world with a single continuous map for the entire game, thanks to Unreal Engine's World Partition system. Even back when my game was in Unreal Engine 4, I used World Composition, so it was already technically an open world from the very beginning.
However, from a player's perspective, the world is extremely small and much closer to a hub than a gigantic open world! That is why you won't see "Open World" tagged on any store page.
Why will the game version will be higher than 1.0 for the first Early Access version?
The first public Demo, called the Benchmark Demo, started at 1.1.0. Any major update with new content will increment the Update number, like 1.2.0.
Thus, leaving Early Access is not tied to the version number, as I don't follow the traditional “1.0” release convention.
Is Generative AI used to create the game?
No. Every 3D model is created from primitive shapes (cube, sphere, etc.), every texture is painted from scratch in Substance Painter, and all C++ code and Blueprints are written entirely by hand.
That said, I do use AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) to continuously improve my skills, learn new software features (especially in Unreal Engine), brainstorm ideas, check typos or grammar mistakes, etc.
Will you remain a solo developer in the future?
Yes, I plan to remain a solo developer and always make everything from scratch for this game and all future titles.
The content of both my game and my website will always be created entirely by me, without using AI for content creation.
To clarify further, I firmly believe that AAA developers, indie developers working in a team, and solo developers are three very different jobs, each with different skillsets and goals.
Switching from one to another is, in my opinion, comparable to a complete career shift within the same field, requiring relearning an entirely different set of skills.
Has the spelling of Goldaniatech changed?
Yes. The original spelling from 2021 to 2026 was Goldanniyatech. I simplified it to Goldaniatech in November 2026. Please refer only to the updated spelling.
